 Cindy Cassidy, PsyD, LP
Education:  Dr. Cassidy earned her BA in psychology from St. Cloud State University and her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in 2006.  She specialized in child and family studies while at both institutions.
Credentialing:  Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Outpatient psychotherapy with children (5+), adolescents, adults, and families.  Psychological Assessment/Testing with children (5+), teens, and adults.    Assessment areas include ADHD, memory problems, intellectual/cognitive assessment, personality, autistic spectrum disorders, and assessments to help clarify diagnosis or provide treatment recommendations.   
Areas of Interest:  Trauma, including trauma stemming from childhood issues; parenting and family issues; anxiety; depression; health/medical diagnosis related issues; military/veteran; life transitions; stress management techniques; grief; autism spectrum disorders; and attachment/adoption difficulties. 

Laura Henson, PsyD, LP
Education:   Dr. Henson earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver in 1990.
Credentialing Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Psychotherapy: adults - individuals, couples, conjoint, and groups; psychological assessment; and consultation.

Stephen C. Perry, MSEd, LP
Education:  Steve earned a Master of Science in Education degree with a Community Counseling emphasis from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 1979.
Credentialing:  Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Mental health assessment and psychotherapy with adolescents, adults and couples.
Special Interests:  Working with individuals raised in challenging and dysfunctional family systems and with individuals in recovery from a variety of addictions.  He has extensive training and experience in EAP assessments and brief therapy.

Jen Pohl, PsyD, LP
Education:   Dr. Pohl earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2007.
Credentialing:   Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:   Outpatient therapy with adolescents, ages eleven and older, adults and geriatrics is provided with attention to cultural variables impacting treatment and functioning. Dr. Pohl is experienced in working with individuals who identify as GLBT and in incorporating non-Christian spiritual beliefs into therapy. Psychological assessments include, but are not limited to, evaluating intellectual functioning and pre-operative bariatric evaluations.  She is also the manager of BHSI in Fridley.
Special interests:   EMDR to treat trauma, including those experiencing dissociative phenomena, treating co-occurring disorders and providing DBT-focused individual therapy.

Jean Zerby, MSW, LICSW
Education:   Jean received her master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in adolescents and family, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Her undergraduate studies were also at South Carolina, where she majored in psychology and Sociology.
Credentialing:   She has been certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1995.

Caromyr Figueroa, MD
Education:   Dr. Figueroa attended University of Puerto Rico Medical School and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Minnesota. 
Credentialing:   Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry
Area of Practice:   Dr. Figueroa sees children and teenagers with emotional and behavioral problems and provides psychiatric evaluations, in English or Spanish, counseling and medication management. She specializes in children with ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, autism spectrum, developmental delays and other issues.

Mark Kerekes, MD

Education:   Dr. Kerekes completed his undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska in 1986, then earned his MD degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990. He completed his Adult Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1995.
Credentialing:   Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Area of Practice:   Broad outpatient child and adolescent practice with special interests in sleep medicine, health psychology, and sports psychiatry.

James McCoy, MD
Education:  Dr. McCoy earned his M.D. at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1991.
Credentialing:  Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
Areas of Practice:   Broad outpatient adult practice consisting mainly of psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief crisis oriented psychotherapy.

Leah Streitman, PA-C
Education:   Leah Streitman received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Augsburg College in 2015.  She holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul.

Areas of Practice:   Outpatient psychiatry, including diagnostic evaluations, consultations, and medication management.  Special interest in mood disorders, OCD and other anxiety disorders, and addiction medicine.
