Welcome

When you visit a BHSI clinic you can expect compassionate and individualized care from highly qualified professionals. Our staff of psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers and family therapists are committed to offering high quality collaborative care.

Our Collaborative Approach

We believe in comprehensive care that considers the biological, psychological, social, and environmental influences in your life. That's why our staff includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and marriage/family therapists with a biopsychosocial view of health.

Depending on what is needed, we provide individual therapy, parenting consultation, relationship and family therapy, as well as medication management. This means you don't have to visit different clinics to get competent, comprehensive mental health care.
BHSI belongs to the Midwest Independent Practice Association. Click on the MIPA logo to find highly qualified primary care and specialist physicians in your area.

Medical Services

BHSI's psychiatrists prescribe and monitor medication, and help you make informed decisions about medications.

Our staff also includes psychiatrists who specialize in treating children and adolescents.

Psychological Testing

When more in-depth understanding is needed, BHSI's psychologists utilize psychological tests to assess your strengths, personality traits, intellectual and cognitive abilities, emotional problems, and relationship patterns.

Anonymous Screening

BHSI offers this quick and anonymous screening in conjunction with Screening for Mental Health, a national non-profit organization dedicated to providing public education and treatment resources.

Answer these questions to find out if you might have a problem with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, or bipolar disorder.
Note: This brief screening is not nearly as thorough as an in-person mental health evaluation. You should follow-up with a mental health professional if your screening results suggest a problem.
