Jessica Lloyd, PsyD, LP
Education: Dr. Lloyd earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2016.
Credentialing: Licensed Psychologist (MN)
Areas of Practice: Individual and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as psychological assessment with all ages (above 6). Dr. Lloyd provides a range of psychological testing services including referrals for neuropsychological functioning (i.e. memory, cognition, attention, executive functioning, etc.), Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, personality testing, and general diagnostic clarification. In therapy, Dr. Lloyd specializes in working with the range of complex post-traumatic stress responses. She has experience working with high intensity behaviors such as sexual abuse, self-harm behaviors, suicidal ideation, personality disorders, and autism spectrum (and other developmental) disorders.
Special interests: Working toward certification in somatic experiencing and internal family systems approaches. Utilize and integrate somatic, narrative, and parts work with treating complex trauma.

Bre Palmer, MA
Education: Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, University of St. Thomas; Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice, University of St. Thomas.
Credentialing: Mental Health Practitioner, pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
Areas of Practice: I provide individual psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and young adults. I value a collaborative and client-centered approach to therapy, believing that you are the expert on all things you. I incorporate various therapeutic modalities that draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and trauma-informed care. I am passionate about using a strengths-based approach that helps equip you with a toolbelt that best fits your natural gifts and talents. My hope is to create a safe environment where exploration and growth thrive, and you feel championed and empowered within your mental health journey.
Special Interests: Working with children and adolescents, incorporating play therapy techniques, trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and life transitions. I am also interested in providing a Christian-centered approach to counseling.

Jen Pohl, PsyD, LP
Education:   Dr. Pohl earned her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University at the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology in 2007.
Credentialing:   Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:   Outpatient therapy with adolescents, ages eleven and older, adults and geriatrics is provided with attention to cultural variables impacting treatment and functioning. Dr. Pohl is experienced in working with individuals who identify as GLBT and in incorporating non-Christian spiritual beliefs into therapy. Psychological assessments include, but are not limited to, evaluating intellectual functioning and pre-operative bariatric evaluations.  She is also the director of BHSI in Brooklyn Center.
Special interests:   EMDR to treat trauma, including those experiencing dissociative phenomena, and treating co-occurring disorders.

Jean Zerby, MSW, LICSW 
Education:   Jean received her master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in adolescents and family, from the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Her undergraduate studies were also at South Carolina, where she majored in psychology and Sociology.
Credentialing:   She has been certified by the Academy of Certified Social Workers since 1995.

Emmy Delaney, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Education: Emmy has a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of North Dakota. She completed her Master of Nursing degree and bachelor of individualized studies in anthropology, public health, and the history of medicine at the University of Minnesota.
Credentialing, Licenses: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Minnesota. Board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Areas of Practice: Emmy provides in person and telemedicine psychiatric services to adults, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, lifestyle education, and supportive psychotherapy. She has a special interest in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and in working with patients navigating the transition to parenthood.

Monicah Gikiri DNP, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Education:  Dr. Gikiri earned a Doctor of Nursing degree at the University of Minnesota in 2020.
Credentialing:  Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP - Across the Lifespan) through American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Minnesota.
Areas of Practice: Provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, short term therapy, and follow-up care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

Elana Goldsmith, DNP, APRN CNP, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
Education:  Elana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She completed both the Masters in Nursing (MN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), specializing in psychiatry/mental health, at the University of Minnesota.
Credentialing: Elana is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Minnesota. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and by Postpartum Support International in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C).
Areas of Practice: Elana works with children, adolescents, and adults in the outpatient setting. Elana has a special interest in working with individuals struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. She provides psychiatric services including diagnostic evaluation, medication management, lifestyle interventions, and supportive therapy.

Mark Kerekes, MD
Education:   Dr. Kerekes completed his undergraduate work at the University of Nebraska in 1986, then earned his MD degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1990. He completed his Adult Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 1995.
Credentialing:   Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Area of Practice:   Broad outpatient child and adolescent practice with special interests in sleep medicine, health psychology, and sports psychiatry.

James McCoy, MD
Education:  Dr. McCoy earned his M.D. at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1987. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at the University of Southern California School of Medicine in 1991.
Credentialing:  Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
Areas of Practice:   Broad outpatient adult practice consisting mainly of psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief crisis oriented psychotherapy.
