Candace Anderson, MSW, LICSW
Credentialing: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
 Education: Masters in Clinical Social Work, St. Catherine University
Bachelor's in Sociology, Minnesota State University, Mankato
 Areas of Practice: Candace works with adult and adolescent clients who are experiencing: Life transitions or challenges, worry, nervousness, sadness, hopelessness, grief and loss, and trauma. Candace worked in the mental health field for just under a decade prior to completing her Master's Degree and transitioning into her therapy role, having served the Twin Cities' severe and persistent mental health community as a case manager, worked within crisis services, and as an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team member. She completed her Master's Level clinical internship at Mindful Way Counseling.  Candace provides warmth and humor during sessions to help all feel safe and comfortable in talking about life's challenges. She uses a collaborative approach in her work with clients, which is consistent with her strong passion for social justice and core values in providing a nonjudgmental and culturally-sensitive and responsive environment for all clients.
 Special Interests: Candace utilizes a trauma-informed approach, including Brainspotting. She uses a strengths-based and relational approach to her work with clients and also incorporates Polyvagal Theory and Mindfulness into her work.

Elizabeth J. Caven, PsyD, LP
Education:  Doctor of Psychology-Clinical Psychology: Minnesota School of Professional Psychology, 1999
Credentialing:  Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:   Psychological testing/assessment with adults.  Psychotherapy with adults.  
Special interests:  Serious and persistent mental illness, geriatrics, dementia, traumatic brain injury, and risk assessment.
Testing/Assessment Areas:  Cognitive functioning including intellect and memory;  neuropsychological assessment; pre-surgical evaluations including bariatric and spinal; court ordered evaluations including Rule 20.01, Rule 20.02, psychosexual evaluations, CHIPS, competency to make decisions; ADHD, eating disorders, personality function,  and assessments to help clarify diagnosis or provide treatment recommendations.

Molly McClure, MSW, LICSW
Education:  Masters degree in Social Work from St. Thomas University (2004).
Credentials:  Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Areas of practice:  Molly provides a broad range of mental health services including individual and family therapy, as well as marriage and relationship counseling.  She works with adults, adolescents, and children.  While Molly tends to work mostly with individual issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, personal growth, career changes and emotional wellness, she has particular interest in working with couples and enhancing communication.  She is also the director of the North St. Paul BHSI.

Jennifer Robinson, PhD, LP
Education: Doctor of Psychology - Counseling Psychology: Texas Woman’s University, 2018
Credentials:  Licensed Psychologist
Areas of Practice:  Psychotherapy with adults and older adolescents as individuals, couples, and families. Psychological testing with adults, adolescents, and children.
Special Interests: I enjoy working with all aspects of gender and sexuality exploration and expression. I also work with the underlying factors in addiction (including process and co-addiction) from a family systems and trauma informed model. I am happy to work with non-traditional types of family and romantic partnership configurations, including polyamory and other relational dynamic structures. I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in the treatment of trauma.
Testing/Assessment Areas:  Cognitive function, personality function, ADHD, and assessments to help clarify diagnosis and provide treatment recommendations.

Larry Sedlacek, MA, LPCC, LADC
Credentialing: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Addiction Dependency Counselor
Education: Master of Arts in Addictions Counseling: Advanced Practice from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, 2018
 Areas of Practice: Larry works with a broad range of mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, Post Traumatic Stress disorder, bipolar, substance use disorders, life transition, grief and loss, ADHD, and conflict resolution. Larry serves clients from ages 12 and up, and the LGBTQ+ community. Larry uses several therapeutic techniques catered to the individuals needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Existential, Motivational interviewing, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic. Larry uses a person-centered, strength based approach to help individuals find more effective solutions.
Special Interests: Trauma, Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, Borderline Personality disorder and other personality disorders, Substance Use Disorders, and mindfulness.

Psychiatry

Allison Awunti MSN, APRN, CNP, PMHNP-BC
Education: Allison earned her Master’s of Science in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of North Dakota. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, MN.
Credentialing: Allison is licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the state of Minnesota. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
Special interests: Autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and schizophrenia
Areas of Practice: Allison provides outpatient psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults through the age of 25. Services provided include psychiatric assessment, medication management, and supportive therapy. Allison provides care to patients onsite and through telehealth.

Laurie Leabhart, APRN, CNS
Education:  Columbia University College of Nursing, MSN 1990. University of Iowa BSN 1984.
Credentials:  APRN ( Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) Adults though ANCC ( American Nurses Credentialing Center)
Areas of Practice:  Ages 18 and up. Assessment, diagnosis and medication treatment of mental health illness. I utilize supportive therapy with medication management.
Special interests:  Depression,anxiety, bipolar and psychotic disorders, verbal autism spectrum, adult ADHD, comorbid medical and mental illness, geriatric and young adult populations.
