About Bre's Area of Practice

Hi! I’m Bre. My favorite part about therapy is partnering with clients to explore the unique, complex puzzle of you. I believe you know more about your needs than you would ever believe – and while it may feel messy, I have found that someone walking alongside you can make all the difference in uncovering what’s been lost. For me, that is best uncovered through my faith in Jesus. I believe that relationship can redeem our brokenness, hurt, anxieties, and confusion. My faith informs the work that I do, and you can choose how and when that would play a role in our time together. Outside the office, you can find me baking, curled up with a good book, attending concerts, watching sports, volunteering at church, and traveling – often with a matcha latte in hand.

Education

Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, University of St. Thomas; Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, University of St. Thomas.

Special Interests

I work with kiddos, adolescents, and young adults drawing on an integrative therapeutic approach. This includes various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and play therapy techniques. I work with clients to address a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, people pleasing, and life transitions. I love working with clients that need help gaining insight into patterns that have left them feeling overwhelmed and stuck. My goal is that you would experience a safe environment where exploration and growth thrive, and you feel championed within your story.
